I’m Haley Lemieux, RD, a virtual bariatric dietitian, and I want to make it simple for you to get the nutrition support you need.

Many insurance plans cover 1:1 dietitian sessions for bariatric nutrition counseling, while additional services like text support and food log reviews are available as out of pocket add ons.

How Insurance Works With Virtual Bariatric Dietitian Support

COVERED SERVICES

Primary 1:1 coaching sessions for post-bariatric nutrition and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) may be eligible for coverage.

Add-On Services. Optional 1:1 coaching add-ons are available for $197/month, which include:

  • Unlimited 1:1 text support Monday–Friday (questions, restaurant menu help, meal planning support, accountability, or just someone to vent to or cheer you on!)

  • Weekly food log review and feedback

  • Lifetime access to my self-paced courses, including Nourished Bariatric Basics with over 13 modules and training guides

Billing: I can submit claims directly to your insurance for eligible sessions in the states listed above.

Verification: Coverage and copays vary by plan — it’s important to verify your specific benefits. Reach out to me & I can send you a detailed list of questions to contact your insurance company with!

Flexible Options: If your insurance doesn’t cover sessions, self-pay options, course bundles, or group coaching programs are available. HSA/FSA are accepted as well.
